This was a suit by th« city of Ennis and certain individuals, who, as a committee of citizens of Ennis, brought against the Houston & Texas Central Railroad Company and certain of its officers to prevent the moving of its division superintendent’s offices, train dispatchers, machine shops, and roundhouse from Ennis to Mexia, and to enforce the observance of a certain contract made by Charles Dillingham on December 6, 1890, then receiver of the Houston & Texas Central Railroad Company.
