This is a bill filed in the Circuit Court of Pope County on April 17,1889, by the appellant against the appellee, his wife, praying for a divorce from her upon the alleged grounds, that she “has wilfully absented herself from your orator without any reasonable cause for the space of two years, and has been guilty of extreme and repeated cruelty.” The defendant answered denying .the allegations of the bill, and replication was filed to the answer.
