*256MEMORANDUM OPINION AND JUDGMENT
In this action to quiet title, plaintiff, Jessica Tutein, seeks, pursuant to 28 V.I.C. § 11, to establish her ownership by adverse possession of Lot No. 1, Green Street, Christiansted, St. Croix. Tutein asserts that in 1951 the then owner of the premises, Mrs. Emmeline Harrigan Daniels (plaintiff’s aunt), gave her the property by parol gift. The property at that time was a vacant lot.
