This is a petition for writ of mandamus by which the relator, John Robert Mc-Clelland, seeks an order directing the respondent, Dudley C. Sharp, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Harris County Republican Party, and Peter O’Donnell, Chairman of the State Executive Committee of the Republican Party in Texas, to certify him as the duly nominated Republican candidate for State Representative, Legislative District No. 24, Position No. 6, in Harris County, Texas.
