DIXON, Chief Justice.

On July 12, 1966 Relators Jerry Donald, Stan Bynum, Bill Cherry, Suzanne Lytton and Howard Lydick filed their “First Amended Original Petition for Declaratory Judgment on Aritcle 13.09 of the Texas Election Code, V.A.C.S. 1 and for Writs of Injunction and Mandamus.” Relator Lydick is an attorney and represents all the Relators.

The Respondents are Waggoner Carr, Attorney General of Texas; Henry Wade, District Attorney of Dallas County; Tom Ellis, County Clerk of Dallas County; and John Leedom, Chairman of the Dallas County Republican Executive Committee.
