The defendant has appealed from a judgment of interdiction. The suit *959was filed by his two married sisters and his two uncles, who, a-s far as the record discloses, are his nearest relations. During the trial, the two sisters discontinued their suit, or withdrew as plaintiffs in the case, in order that their husbands might be competent witnesses. The defendant’s mother had brought suit to have him interdicted, but died about a month afterwards, and the present suit was filed a few days after her death.
