FOTI, J.
The petitioner, Joseph Doehrer, appeals from the judgment of the habeas court denying his petition *775for a writ of habeas corpus. The petitioner claims that the court improperly (1) concluded that he had failed to establish that he was denied effective assistance of counsel and (2) failed to credit the testimony of his expert witness and improperly assessed the credibility of witnesses. We affirm the judgment of the habeas court.
