This action was commenced in the district court of Canadian county by George AV. Hunt, plaintiff, against H. S. Clift and L. B. Clift, defendants, to recover on a promissory note in the sum of $600.

Defendants answered:

“Hirst. These defendants admit the execution and delivery of the said promissory note sued on herein.
