The bill in this case was filed to enjoin the collection of a privilege tax which it is alleged the city was about to collect from complainant as a liquor dealer.

Three grounds of relief are stated: Firstly, that complainant, although engaged in the sale of liquor and having its place of business within the city of Chattanooga, makes all of its purchases outside of the State of Tennessee, and likewise sells only to persons beyond the borders of the State, has so conducted its business from the start, and will continue this method of…
