The controversy in this case grows out of a dispute as to the ownership of a fund deposited in the Savings Bank of Baltimore. The bank filed a bill of interpleader in the Circuit Court of Baltimore City requiring the claimants, Bryan Gorman, the executor of Theresa McConnell, and Maggie Gorman, to interplead and settle their adverse claims. Both parties answered, each claiming the whole fund; amounting to nearly three thousand dollars.
