The defendant, Joseph Smith, appeals from the judgment of the trial court, rendered after a trial to the court, convicting him of the crimes of robbery in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-135 (a) (2), larceny in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-123 (a) (3) and carrying a dangerous weapon in violation of General Statutes § 53-206 (a).
