The defendant appeals 1 from the trial court’s judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of one count of murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a (a), two counts of assault of a peace officer in violation of General Statutes § 53a-167c (a) (1), and one count of intimidation of a witness in violation of General Statutes § 53a-151a (a) (1).
