This case presents the question of whether firearms instructors at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (“FLETC”), Glyneo, Georgia, are entitled to overtime compensation under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 201 et seq. Plaintiffs are 45 current or former GS-12 and GS-13 instructors in FLETC’s Firearms Division. FLETC is a bureau within the Department of Homeland Security.
