FOURNET, Justice.

John Henry Washington instituted this, suit for compensation under the total permanent disability clause of Act No. 20 of 1914, as amended, subject to payments received for a period of 150 weeks, when he was informed by his employer’s insurer, the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company of Boston, Mass., that he would receive no further compensation for the loss of his right hand, amputated during the course of his employment by the Independent Ice and Cold Storage Company as a helper on an ice delivery truck.
