The defendant railroad company complains of a final judgment of the Court of Appeal for the Parish of Orleans condemning it to pay $90 for the loss of a mare, which the plaintiff alleges “was lost or wrongly carried in transit, and never had been delivered to petitioner, notwithstanding amicable demand/’ in coming from St. Louis to New Orleans. The mare was in a lot of 22 horses shipped at one. time in the same car. Twenty-one of these horses were delivered to plaintiff in good order and condition.
