Appeal from a *792judgment of the County Court of Albany County (Harris, J.), rendered July 2, 1984, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the first degree.
As a result of a routine license check, officers of the Town of Colonie Police Department received a bulletin that a car parked in a motel parking lot had been reported stolen.
