BOOKHOUT, Associate Justice.

—Appellee sued for damages on account of personal injuries sustained while serving as fireman on one of appellant’s freight trains because of defects in the apron bridging the space between the engine and tender, and recovered a judgment for $15,000, from which this appeal is prosecuted.

Conclusions of Fact.—Appellee was injured while firing appellant’s engine 357 on a trip from Denison, through Pottsboro, Whitesboro and Denton to Dallas. The injury occurred between the stations of Letot and Dallas, about three miles south of the former, and two or three miles north…
