John Alieva (“Alieva”) is a former employee of the New York City Department of Investigation (“the DOI”); he was terminated on July 19, 2004. Alieva believes that he was discriminated against on account of his age because he was terminated; the DOI failed to promote him at various times; he suffered retaliation, and he endured a hostile work environment.
