The appellants filed this action to recover for personal injuries they sustained when their automobile was struck from behind by a vehicle being driven by one Leslay Garvin. Garvin died as the result of injuries sustained in the collision, and the administratrix of his estate was named as a defendant in this action. Alleging that at the time of the collision Garvin was being pursued in a negligent manner by Officer Michael DiFiore of the Savannah Police Department, appellants also named him as a defendant.
