MEMORANDUM OPINION ORDER

BENSON, District Judge.

I. Introduction

This matter comes before the Court on defendant’s motion for summary judgment. The plaintiff is David Matthews, a former employee of the defendant, Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation. Plaintiffs complaint alleges eight causes of action: (1) Disability Discrimination; (2) Retaliation; (3) Wrongful Discharge in Violation of Public Policy; (4) Breach of Contract; (5) Breach of the Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing; (6) Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress; (7) Negligent Supervision; and (8) Defamation.
