Maryland law places various restrictions on those who purport to assist consumers in obtaining credit — restrictions that include certain licensing, bonding, and disclosure requirements. These requirements are set forth in the Maryland Credit Services Businesses Act (“MCSBA”), codified at Maryland Code, Commercial Law Article (“CL”), § 14-1901 et seq.
