SHIRAS, District Judge.

From the record in this case it appears that the plaintiff is a corporation created under the national bank act of the United States, doing business at Fitchburg, Mass., and the defendant; is a corporation created under the laws of the state of Iowa, and carrying on business at Sioux City, in said state. The suit is an action at law, aided by the issuance of a writ of attachment, and based upon three promissory notes, each for the sum of $5,000, and coming due, one on the 7th, one on the 8th, one the 9th day of August, .1893.
