Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Westchester County (Sweeny, J.), rendered September 9, 1987, convicting him of attempted robbery in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant contends that the trial court erred in denying his request that the jury be charged on the defense of renunciation. We disagree.
