Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Greene County (Lalor, J.), rendered October 2, 1992, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of two counts of the crime of murder in the second degree.

Defendant was charged with four counts of murder in the second degree, robbery in the first degree and burglary in the first degree. The charges resulted from the brutal murders of Martha Wittmaier and Samuel Wittmaier.
