This is an action in claim and delivery to recover a Chrysler automobile. The plaintiff is a Maryland corporation with headquarters at Portland, Oregon. The complaint alleges ownership and right of possession of the car in plaintiff and its wrongful detention by defendant. The answer is a general denial, but admits that defendant retains possession of the car. By stipulation the cause was tried to the court sitting without a jury.
