—Appeal from a decision of the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board, filed January 3, 1997, which ruled that claimant was disqualified from receiving unemployment insurance benefits because her employment was terminated due to misconduct.

Claimant was employed as a child care worker at a group home for emotionally disturbed adolescents. When the employer learned that residents of the group home had attended a barbecue at the home of claimant’s relative, claimant and other staff members were given written warnings for violating the employer’s policy which prohibits bringing residents to a staff…
