OPINION

MINZNER, Justice.

{1} Defendant Mario Baca appeals from his convictions of aiding and abetting first-degree, depraved-mind murder contrary to NMSA 1978, § 30-2-l(A)(3) (1994) and NMSA 1978, § 30-1-13 (1972), and of conspiracy to commit depraved-mind murder contrary to NMSA 1978, § 30-28-2(B)(l) (1979) and Section 30-2-l(A)(3). We have jurisdiction over the direct appeal pursuant to Rule 12-102(A)(1) NMRA1997.
