This is an action brought by plaintiff against defendants for conspiracy, alleging damage.

The complaint alleges, in substance, that the defendant Robert R. Reynolds is a resident of North Carolina and elected junior Senator from the State of North Carolina to the United States Senate. That the defendant Wesley E. MacDonald claims to be a resident and citizen of North Carolina, but in fact is a resident and citizen of the State of Virginia.
