MEMORANDUM OF DECISION
ZAMPANO, District Judge.
The Plaintiff, Grand Sheet Metal Products Company (“Grand Sheet”), commenced this action to recover the losses it incurred when an explosion and ensuing fire destroyed a plant in Shelton, Connecticut, that it was leasing and obligated by contract to buy from the B. F. Goodrich Company (“BFG”). Plaintiff named as defendants 36 insurance companies (“Insurers”) that are each bound, under an insurance contract that is the subject matter of this lawsuit, to pay specified percentages of any loss that falls within the coverage of the policy.
