This is an action to recover unpaid wages. Plaintiff was employed by defendant in its retail department store located in Salem from August 11, 1974, through November 15, 1977. He brought this action claiming that, at the time his employment with defendant terminated, defendant owed him $796.25 in unpaid compensation. He also sought to recover $1,950 in penalty wages pursuant to ORS 652.150.
