In Error, to the District Court of the United States for the Eastern District of Louisiana; Rufus E. Foster, Judge. Mandamus by the United States, on the relation of William G. Fisher and others, against the Board of Directors of the Public Schools, Parish of Orleans. The writ was denied, and the relators bring error.

In 1892, Mrs. M. M. Eisher and her husband, citizens oí Spain, recovered a judgment against the board of directors of the city schools of New Orleans, for the sum of $8,097.17, with legal interest from May 22, 1890. This was in the Circuit Court of the United States for the Eastern District of Louisiana. It was based upon a judgment on the same right of action which had been previously rendered in favor of the plaintiff in the state court, and against the board of directors of the city schools of New Orleans.
