TIMMONS-GOODSON, Judge.

In his Last Will and Testament, General Jackson Parrish (“Parrish” or “decedent”) designated his daughter, attorney Lucille S. White (“White”), executrix and residuary legatee of his estate. In her capacity as the estate’s personal representative, White filed an action in federal court to recover damages related to Parrish’s death. White settled the federal court action in July 1998 for $275,000.00.
