Flood, J.,

Minor plaintiff, a 16-year-old pedestrian, was injured when she was struck *267by defendant’s automobile, following an intersection collision between the automobiles of defendant and additional defendant. There was a serious injury to plaintiff’s thigh, and later thrombophlebitis developed,. which plaintiff’s doctors said resulted from the injury. The jury found a verdict of $10,000 for the minor and $5,000 for her parents against defendant, and a verdict for additional defendant. Original defendant asks a new trial.
