OPINION

LUONGO, District Judge.

This is a suit under § 205(g) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405 (g), to review a final decision of the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare denying plaintiff, Patrick J. Valenti, disability benefits. The decision-of the hearing examiner became the final decision of the Secretary when the Appeals Council denied plaintiff’s request for review. The defendant has filed a motion for summary judgment. The only issue before this court is whether the Secretary’s findings are supported by substantial evidence, for if they are, the findings are conclusive.…
