The defendant, James W. Buchanan, was convicted and sentenced to fifty years for child molesting as a class A felony 1 and determined to be a sexually violent predator required to register indefinitely as a sex offender 2 The Court of Appeals reversed and remanded for a new trial finding that evidence was erroneously admitted in violation of Indiana Evidence Rule 404(b).
