Luke Phillips prosecutes this appeal to reverse a judgment of conviction against him for the crime of robbery.

J. M. Walker, a witness for the State, testified that he was present in the municipal court at the time the defendant had his preliminary examination, and took down the testimony of George Glenn, the prosecuting’ witness in the case. Walker first took down the testimony of Glenn in shorthand, and reduced it to writing, and swore the witness to it.
