MEMORANDUM

PRATTER, District Judge.

This case involves the alleged contamination of water and air by pollutants generated and released by Rohm and Haas Company, Rohm and Haas Chemicals, LLC, and Morton International, Inc. (collectively, “Rohm and Haas”).1 Plaintiffs Glenn and Donna Gates bring claims pursuant to the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act of 1980 (“CERCLA”), 42 U.S.C. § 9601, et seq., and pursuant to state law.
