This is a suit to recover a balance on account for services rendered by Philip J. Thompson, d/b/a Thompson’s Refrigeration Sales and Service, hereinafter referred to simply as Appellee, to Robert W. Bland, d/b/a Bland Produce Company, referred to hereinafter simply as Appellant.

The appellant is in the business of wholesaling bananas, and the appellee is in the business of repairing and servicing refrigeration equipment; the appellant had retained the services of appellee over a period of years, on an open account basis. On October 10, 1958, appellee filed suit against…
