Appellant Leo Wetherill filed a suit for compensatory damages and punitive damages against Granville and Teresa Hunt, contending that in a previous suit between the parties, the Hunts had maliciously prosecuted a counterclaim against Wetherill. A jury found in favor of Wetherill on the malicious prosecution claim, awarding him $7,611.46 in compensatory damages and no punitive damages.
