Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (O’Brien, III, J.), entered June 14, 2005 in Madison County, ordering, inter alia, equitable distribution of the parties’ marital property, upon a decision of the court.

*861This matrimonial action was filed after the parties had been married for 23 years and had three children, only one of whom is now under 21 years of age. Following a nonjury trial, Supreme Court granted plaintiff a divorce and, explaining its reasoning in detail, ordered an equal division of the parties’ pensions, distributed all other marital assets to plaintiff and all marital debt…
