The plaintiff appeals from a judgment dismissing his complaint following the allowance of the defendants’ motions for summary judgment grounded on a release signed by the plaintiff. We hold that the plaintiff’s action is barred by the release and affirm the judgment.
On March 27, 1978, the plaintiff entered into an agreement with the defendant James S. Lowell’s intestate, Laurel Lowell, wherein he agreed to invest $25,000 for the development by her of a professional movie script.
