This action is a securities class action brought on behalf of all persons who purchased or otherwise acquired securities of AstraZeneca, Inc. between April 2, 2003 and September 10, 2004. Plaintiffs bring this claim pursuant to sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, 15 U.S.C. §§ 78j(b) and 78t, and Securities and Exchange Rule 10b-5, 17 C.F.R. § 240.10b-5.
