Plaintiffs are a group of 24 individuals who were arrested by the New York City Police Department (the “NYPD”) in connection with a series of protests held during the 2004 Republican National Convention (the “RNC”), Plaintiffs bring this putative class action against Defendants the City of New York (the “City”) and numerous New York City officials and police officers, alleging violations of their rights under the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution, as well as various state law claims.…
