OPINION AND ORDER

GERSHON, District Judge.

In this action purportedly brought on behalf of a class, 1 plaintiff, a debtor, alleges that defendant, a law firm specializing in consumer debt collection, has committed various violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692-1692o. Defendant moves the court to enter judgment on the pleadings pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(c) or, in the alternative, to enter summary judgment pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 56.
