DIANA GRIBBON MOTZ, Circuit Judge:

In April 2011, Soudabeh White left Switzerland for the United States with her minor son, who had previously resided habitually in Switzerland. The child’s father, Malcolm White, initiated this action for wrongful removal under the Hague Convention, seeking the return of his son to Switzerland.
