E. Kallquist brought a claim for compensation before the Industrial Commission for adjustment on account of injuries claimed to have been received by him while in the employ of plaintiff in error, and after a hearing before an arbitrator was awarded $1400. On review before the commission the award was affirmed, whereupon a writ of certiorari was sued out of the circuit court of Cook county. Upon hearing before that court the decision of the commission was set aside and a finding entered that Kallquist was entitled to receive $12 for 100 weeks for the complete loss of sight of the left eye.
