A general court-martial sitting at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, convicted appellant, Major David P. Schneider, contrary to his pleas, of attempted premeditated murder, conduct unbecoming an officer by committing adultery, and conduct unbecoming an officer by committing perjury in a state court, in violation of Articles 80 and 133, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 880 and 933, respectively.
