Appeal from Civil District Court, Parish, of Orleans; T. C. W. Ellis, Judge. Action by Hampton Reynolds against the Board of Commissioners of the Orleans Levee District. From a judgment for plaintiff, defendant appeals.

The plaintiff, appellee, is the successor to Reynolds & Co., contractors, who built levees for the defendant under four separate contracts. When the work' was completed and accepted by the board of commissioners, the plaintiff demanded compensation for extra work and losses which he claimed had been imposed upon him, amounting to $40,255.08 in excess of the original contracts.
