Plaintiff was a passenger in an automobile being driven toward the east on a paved country highway by her sister, the defendant Bertha Iron-side. The defendant Hopper was driving his car in the same direction, and following the Ironside car. Hopper attempted to pass the Ironside car, and a 3-car collision occurred, the defendant Wendell having in the meantime approached from the opposite direction in his car.
