THE COURT.

Plaintiffs brought this action to recover damages for the death of their child, age 10 months, alleging that by reason of the negligence of defendant in its maintenance of uninsulated wires charged with electricity in the dwelling house belonging to defendant but rented to and occupied by plaintiffs, the said child was electrocuted by coming into contact with such wires. The action was tried before a jury and resulted in a verdict for plaintiffs in the sum of $27,500. On motion for a new trial the court reduced the damages to $188.31 allowed for funeral expenses, and $15,000 general…
